Open Studio for Parents

While I was teaching at Westlake Middle and High School, I ran a series of art workshops for parents. It was a chance to get to know them, and also to educate. I knew that the art classes I was teaching were probably different from what they may have experienced as children, and I wanted them to have a more updated understanding of how the arts fit into their children’s education today. It was a lot of fun, and went a long way in developing stronger connections to our parent community.
